Hi list

Can anybody help about standard position feedbacks and actuators for industrial valves. Are there standard resistance values and if yes what are they or link to Web pages

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Nowdays the signal is 4-20 ma is used, and the valve has to be powered exactly like the Pressure or temperature transmitters. Be carefull whether
- or + is earthed on the valve, because in this case you have to take care of the PLC input (Floating Input shall be used)

Valve Manufacturer MUST give you details of the valve position transmitter or even POSITIONER (Electro-pneumatic positioner)

In some older el. motor operated valves, there were resistance positioners, but nowdays nobody is using them.
