I want to use Bently Nevada vibration sensor equipments for monitoring of vibration in our PLC system. I don't want to use a separate machine monitoring system. Is there any transmitter in Bently Nevada equipments with 4-20mA output to connect directly to analog input channel of PLC?

 

You will need to purchase a complete system of their monitors for this purpose. You can connect them to your system via Modbus or Devicenet (Bently *.eds files do not work).

I believe there are many manufacturers of devices which can accept a signal from a proximity probe and output a 4-20 mA signal. A quick Google search for 'proximity probe converter' found this:

But I'm certain there are many others, some less sophisticated, some more sophisticated.

You can use XM(XM120) range from Rockwell Automation. This devices have the possibility to be connected to DeviceNet network, but also you can wire your 4-20mA direct to PLC! If you are using an Allen Bradley PLC you can make your life easy...
