When you go for Motor Sizing for an application.. Do you first select Voltage or Motor type(Stepper/AC Servo/DC Servo..)??
I read that Voltage are selected based on availability. What if all voltages are available in a plant.. then which one would you choose for the final solution? For example, assume you have Single phase, 3 Phase AC and DC supply... ranging from 115V to 480V..(i.e you have option for lower and higher voltage).
