What has happened to Rockwell?

We purchased 14 MCCs and over the past 6 years have been installing them during outages.
Now Rockwell says that the E1 and E3 overloads are obsolete.
Use the E300 in place. Of course, the ineptitude of their people created a replacement that DOES NOT FIT in the bucket.
Their solution is Because we are inept and cannot design a replacement that will fit, we want you to spend an additional $66,000 to $300,000 for a solution that is half-ass at best.
Irresponsible and flat-ass wrong on Rockwell's part.

I don't really see a question in your post--but thanks for the heads-up!

Have you looked at eBay and other "NOS" (New--Old Stock) suppliers? There are lots of industrial companies that buy old warehouse stock--like liquidators. (And with LOTS of companies now selling their spares (because they have to pay taxes on the inventory!!!) there should be lots of what you're looking for around. It's really fun telling a Customer they need a spare, only to be told, "DON'T YOU HAVE ANY???!!! Our warehouse says they can get a spare part in three days. WHY DON'T YOU HAVE ANY SPARES (for us) NOW???!!!?!!!")

How do you spell Rockwell? (Answer: O-V-E-R-P-R-I-C-E-D) "You may find better--but you'll never pay more!"
