I am reading some control logic diagram for a client. some sysmbols confuse me.

Is there a standard symbol legend for control industries? If so, where can I find them?

Try books (ISA standards, library, used college texts, etc.) or internet (Google advanced search, exact phrase "Logic symbols"). Here are some prelim finds from www:

Note that some differences can be found (military vs. ISO/German/European... etc.).
