Hi Every body,
The automation system construct by a Beckhoff IPC that communicate with a Siemens S7 CPU 315-2DP via profibus card as a slave unit. The program written by using VB6 and TwinCAT I/O. The VB6 program also should communicate with ABS unit via K-Line and KWP2000 protocol. The KWP2000 protocol written in VB program.
As you may know the KWP2000 protocol has a critical time base protocol (in the range of 0.5 ms). The system working properly for one day but after one day the K-Line communication generates errors and we should restart the IPC to solve the problem. The communication with CPU and VB program haven't any problem when we have K-line communication fault. What is your opinion about the source of the problem? How can I overcome it?
