Hi guys and gals. Looking for a simple approach to:
Win98 client can talk with Win NT 4.0 without a problem. I understand that Win 2K changed to authentication methods so that I cannot 'connect' using Win98. What I need to do is read and wrtie to a given directory on the Win 2K box with the Win98 client, and having spent all weekend getting baffled, I am no further ahead.
One thread of a windows site suggested to upgrade to win2k on the client (from another complaint) which is not possible here. Any simple thoughts?
Thanks in advance. Whew - thought this world was getting easier!
