I'm using wincc flexible 2005 advanced pc runtime. and I want to save the data logs to oracle database.

in wincc flexible help files, siemens says:

Databases tested and released for WinCC flexible:
MS Data Engine 97 and MS Data Engine 2000
MS Access 97 and MS Access 2000
MS SQL Server 7.0 and MS SQL Server 2000

I'm sucessfully save the data logs to access and ms sql server, but failed to save it to oracle. when I start up the runtime, I can see a message on the runtime screen says"log initialization ended, all logs ok", so I think the odbc connection to oracle is correct, but the wincc flexible runtime is failed to create the table in oracle database.

Since SIEMENS has not mentioned Oracle, this option may not work. An ODBC connect call may go okay, but the SQL statement exection may be failing due to may reasons like SQL query syntax not compliant with oracle, or the data type structure not compliant etc. May be the SIEMENS Hot line can help you on this.Otherwise you may need to write an external service which takes the data from WinCC Flex and pushes into Oracle.
