WinCC comes built in with 2 trend controls, the WinCC Online Trend Control and the WinCC Function Trend Control. With the WinCC Online Trend Control, you directly connect your WinCC Tags to the Trends to see real-time as well as historical data (taken from archives). With the WinCC Function Trend control, you can do more by actually programming trend data into the control using scripting. This can be useful in scenarios where the standard trend control does not satisfy the requirements.
