Wonderware scripting conversion

I have a client who has an ancient Wonderware application running a process. I have no idea what version of Wonderware it is running, but the PC is running Windows 95, so I know it is pretty old.

I am going to migrate all of this scripting to some kind of soft PLC or other control software. I would like to convert all of the Wonderware scripting in the application to text files to expedite the process (I'd prefer not to sit in front of the old PC and screen scrape).

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

If the old Intouch is Version 5.6, Upgrade it to 6.0 then to 7.1. Lastly, Upgrade it to Ver 8.0 or 9.5. With the latest Intouch Version, you will be able to print the entire application to text file and open it with any text viewing program.

In version 8.0,9.0 or 9.5 WindowMaker, select file -> Print.

Do not use notepad to view the printed text file. As notepad has it limitation. You will not be able to read the file fully.
