I have MODBUS slave deices that i need to write data to from an ALLEN BRADLEY PLC 5/40, with a PROSOFT MCM171 NRAX. Please help. PROSOFT, YOKOGAWA & ALLEN BRADLEY all claim that their product is working.

Mark, thank you for the response, i have been unable to reply to you. The PLC 5-40 processor failed and was scrapped for the Control Logix 5000 platform. After all programing and configs, the Prosoft, Yokogawa and Allen Bradley equipment work better than I could have hoped. Your staff at Prosoft was very helpful. I won't hesitate to use Prosoft in the future.

 

Another option is the DataLink DL3500-DH+/Modbus which is a Modbus Master/Slave Gateway to DH+. This will interface to your PLC5/40. http://www.datalinkgateways.com/products_dl3500dhplusmodbus.htm
