I'm trying to communicate with a AN-6100C annunicator using a XXMIT block in concept using port 1. Do I need a special cable or something.

I have setup a few of these with the Trident PLC's with no problem.

 

You have not provided enough information. The Concept Software will work with the Modicon Quantum, Compact and Momentum controllers. Which one are you using? You have also not indicated if the Ametek Annunicator requires a RS232, RS422 or RS485 interface.
