Can a Yokogawa CS3000 DCS have two ACG bridge for HMIs at different remote locations? I am currently implementing a remote control project for offshore oil & gas operations. The intention is to have onshore coordination centers to control offshore facilities remotely.

I know that an ACG bridge works fine remotely but can I have another ACG bridge from the same DCS to extend control capability to another location?

 

Three comments: I believe there may be more than one way to accomplish this. Look into the functionality of the ExaOMS3000 offsite package. You should involve the DCS vendor early in the design effort - your particular vendor is likely to be a lot of help.
