Well this upgrade means it is not just on replacing CP451(AFV10D)-->CP471, it also includes changing/creating the controller type to AFV30D and re compiling the data base/updating the firmware and off line load to invidual FCSs. As per OEM this can be done only offline with support of Yokogawa Service/Eng. teams.
You cannot just replace CP451 with CP471. You need to upgrade the FCU to AFV30.
The ESB bus coupler module EC401 must be S3 or later.
AFV30 does not support ER Bus so you also need to replace those modules. For example, EB401 and EB501 modules are not supported.
Finally, CP471 is only compatible with Centum VP R5.01 or a later version.
