The complete link is ER Bus Card (10Base2) ~ BNC Converter to Fiber Optic ~ another side BNC to 10Base2 converter ~ ER Bus Card. There is always intermittent failure of the ER Bus.
The sympton: The Canary brand BNC FO converter will have the FO col and BNC col Red LED blinking constantly for whole day and then it fail with the FO link LED,FO ACT LED, FO col LED, BNC ACT LED and BNC LED off. Only left the SYS PWR LED on.
What could be the reason for this?
