If any body has came across a direct interfacing of InTouch with York chillers via YorkTalk serial protocol.

I need to do the above, and I have no idea which I/O server shall I use to complete this task.

Try using OmniServer http://www.omnidssi.com/. They have a driver that you write to recieve info from a serial port and then send it DDE or OPC. We have used it serveral times with WonderWare when there was no driver available. It is pretty easy to use and works well.

 

What do you wish to accomplish? Do you want to control the chiller or just monitor it?

 

I've had a lot of luck with the fieldserver product myself. It gives you the ability to translate all kinds of protocals into RS485, RS232, or Lontalk/BACnet.
