I need to configure a Siemens TP170B with a CPU 315-2DP. I am using the first port as an MPI(ADDRESS 2) to communicate with a PC (ADDRESS 0). I cannot get the TP170B (ADDRESS 1) to communicate with the CPU DP port (ADDRESS 2) using PROFIBUS. When I plug the TP170B to the CPU MPI port, then I establish communication. The TP170B and the CPU 315-2DP are the only nodes on the PROFIBUS network.

Did you configure the CPU DP port in Step 7 Hardware Manager?
