Ultrasonic level meters for liquid oxygen?

> Can we use ultrasonic level meters for level measurement in liquid oxygen tanks?

I wouldn't recommend it. Remember, ultrasonic uses sound waves, and a LOX tank would cause two problems I can think of (I'm sure there may be more)
1. Most ultrasonic transmitters are not designed for that low of a temperature. Even if they have temperature compensation (which most of them do), I doubt the temperature rating would be low enough.
2. If you get any kind of buildup on the sensor head (ice crystals, etc), the sensor would not be able to accurately generate and/or receive the rebounding ultrasonic signal.

I haven't looked at any new sensors in a year or so, and there may be some new technology that handles these problems. I suggest you investigate these closely before installing.

I´m almost sure that ultrasonic sensors can not work at the pressure you should have. There is a lot of another methods you can use
