HI list!

I have a PLC aplication where two backplanes are connected via CNB controlnet modules. My question is: Could I connect this two modules durectly without taps?

Put simply: No.

ControlNet is a trunk-and-drop network and you must have at least two taps and two terminating resistors. You can couple the taps together directly instead of using co-axial cable, but you definitely need the taps.
