Hi dear Control specialist
this is my 1st message and i'm glad to find this useful forum.
In our power plant we have 6 seimens SGT200 gas turbine. one of them has a strange problem. after starting turbine and running for a while ,between an Hour or Days, suddenly turbine trip with flame fail message: "flame fail, temp. falling throttle opening" or "flame fail, temp. falling throttle opening".
in data log we found that gas pressure after regulator drop Approx. 3Barg in 0.2 second.
we checked all fuel parameters and element for example gas regulator, Press. Transmitters, I/P converters, fuel valve actuator, VGV ,gas Block valves, speed sensors and ... but nothing found!
Do u have any suggestion or same problem?
Control system is mark II.

From what you have described, if the gas supply drops rapidly in pressure intermittently and for no obvious reason then I would expect the turbine to firstly to compensate by opening the throttle then detect 'flameout' when that doesn't maintain performance.
Nothing strange about that.
I would start to find why the gas supply drops rapidly, starting with the gas regulator.

as i said we changed the regulator but it didn't work

We are had the problem like this in SGT200, but is "flame failure - temperature falling - throttle limiting." Did you solve your problem? Maybe it can help us about the solution. We check all things like you, but without success.
unfortunately Not yet.
we have both of messages, throttle opening and throttle limiting. our gen. set turbine work without any problem more than one week but suddenly these messages generate and shut down happen.
My company are the leading independent specialists in SGT-200. We have seen this issue many times, usually IP converter or off skid gas compressor.
