Setting up an "Engineering Repository"
How to set up and organize a shared drive where shared information can be stored in manageable way.

I'm looking for suggestions for an "engineering repository..."

Basically to set up within my place of work, We currently have a shared drive system where everyone can access, and it's a bit of a mess. I know security can be added to shared folders etc, but i am looking for another method of storage & organizing all this information (manuals, documents, software, Excels,). Basically everything you would throw up on a shared drive for all to access but organised and managed.

Appreciate any and all ideas.
