i want to get the design equation or formula to calculate the perimeter, area or volume for the petroleum tank which is neither circular nor rectangular. but have dimensions.

Length = 4723 mm
thickness = 4.5 mm
Radius of side bend = 2047.5
Radius of upper bend = 3097.5
fillet radius = 400 mm

You need a proper set of drawings for any vessel with arbitrary shape.

It is not unusual to resort to finite element calculations for unusual cases.

There are formulas for all the common shapes, post a simple sketch.

Moderator’s note: Control.com does not accept attachments. You will need to post your sketch or illustration to a site like google docs and then post a link to the sketch.

Moderator's Note: Sketch is difficult to see. It is pale and appears close to the top of the sketch. I missed it at first when I viewed the sketch on my iPad.
