Currently I am working on CCPP where MHPS GT is used M701F4 (Dual Fuel). I am confused with "FUEL OIL" system. I have found here pressure control valve is used before each fuel oil flow control valve (MAIN & Pilot), whose function is to maintain certain amount of PD across each flow control valves.
I want to know, why we need to maintain certain amount of PD (10 to 20 bar)? If this PD is not maintained, what's the effect during loading condition? Because, in Gas Fuel system, there is not such type of pressure control valve.
