Searching for a master's degree research topic

I'm searching for a topic for my master degree in industrial automation and process control applied for oil and gas industry. Can anyone help me and suggest a topic that can be a good research point for my master?

Thanks in advance

What about your superviser?

In any case try to use the researchgate. A lot of guys are there. Search Dr. Hanish and his coauthors. The topics are hybrid systems, chemical plants.. bla-bla...

the best,
Vladimir.

Take a look at the steam pressure and firing rate controls for a boiler/superheater process.

You have Feed Water Flow, Drum Level, Steam Pressure, Superheater Temperature, and Stack O2 levels to consider. Not to mention any minimum flow bypass requirements.

In some cases you can have 5-6 different gas streams feeding the combustion chamber....

If that is not sufficient, toss in the fire saftey interlocks!

A typical plant project...its a handful to say the least...

How about a falling-film evaporator and associated condenser, density control, etc?
