Simple Sensor for Finding a Torn Rope in an Open Field
A simple sensor for detecting torn laundry rope in an open area- your professional opinion is requested

Friends, hello

I have a question in the field of sensors and I need your help
I have 3 iron posts in the agricultural area.

On the middle page is connected a rechargeable command unit that can communicate with a hub through the cloud. I need a sensor that will give an indication to the command unit if the clotheslines on both sides of the pole have been ripped off (rather than ripped off by the wind) - I know that this should be a simple sensor such as a gravity sensor that will be worn on the clothesline but I just do not get it.

Thank you
Micha

Moderator's Note: Every once and a while we get a post from a non-engineer type with an interesting question. Yes, I know this has nothing to do with manufacturing, control, automation software, or power generation, so please don't email me and complain. Consider it my holiday season gift to keep you from eating too many cookies.

Most rely on wild game detection.
