We are seeing excessive air discharging from the #2 bearing tell-tale drain indicating there is excessive pressure on the cooling and sealing air system. We typically run with a bucket under this discharge line to catch any oil leaking from that line. The bucket was blown out of position during this tuning run which further indicates that something changed during the outage to cause an increase in pressure in the C&S air system.
5th and 11th stage extraction valves appear to be functioning properly
The bearing sealing air valve (VA14-1) appears to be functioning properly.
At the moment we are trying to verify the orifices were put in the correct spots on the extraction lines on the roof. This would be the low hanging fruit that could explain why we are seeing excess pressure on the C&S air system.
