Sir/Friends,
I wish to use siemens LOGO or similar device from L&T to control two axes one after another. i like to set distence to be moved for x and y axis.
any body can suggest which motor is better and economical. is it DC motor with DC drive or Stepper motor with Step drive.

There used to be a "rule of thumb". Steppers for 0.5 horsepower or less and DC motors for 1 horsepower or more. If you're on the fence, it might be better to go with whoever has the best support in your area.
