We have Redundant S5- CPU948R

we have the requirement of knowing input address for FUM signals (Open & close data).

Also how can we identify which one is acting as main CPU and which one is Standby?

We look forward to a solution. Kindly advice us.

 

It's a long time since seeing a S5 setup. From what I recall there is no master/slave scenario. Whichever CPU came online first made the other the backup.

Also the I/O addressing was numerical depending where the cards were in the rack.

It's unclear what FUM you mean unless it's a 'FUM' card - if so which one as there are quite a few.

 

You have to look at the configuration of the system to be able to answer your questions. S5-135 / 155 systems are built up from what location components have and IO are numbered after placement in the various rack.
