Can any one tell me how to configure and to calibrate a Foundation field bus type RADAR level Transmitter?

The radar transmitter was installed in a Tank containing LCO (Light Cycle Oil) having net capacity of 2000 cu.m, Diameter 15m, Height 13.5m, and MAX filling Height 12.5m.

NOTE: Above the LCO fuel was occupied by Nitrogen gas.

 

First, get a copy of the Instruction Manual for the device. Read it thoroughly. If you still need help, let us know.

One of the things you will have to worry about is the dielectric constants of the application. LCO has a relatively low dielectric constant, and may not be reflective enough to get a return pulse to the transmitter.

But before you worry about that, get thee to the manual and RTFM!
