Wish to confirm that the COM0, COM1, COM2 and COM3 pins on the MODICON TSX AEY 414 Analog Input module are the same as the PLC power supply 0 VDC. (Power supply part no. is TSX PSY 500M) ?
In the MODICON Premium PLCs TSX 57/PCX 57 Analog and Weighing Installation Manual Volume 5 March 2005, in Chapter 4 The analog input module TSX AEY 414 on pgs. 66,67 and 68 no mention is made if COM pins are connected to the power supply 0 VDC. There is only a very limited drawing of the analog input circuitry.
I note that the description on pg. 75 for the TSX AEY 420 analog input module does indicate that the "COM0, COM1, COM2 and COM3 pins are linked internally in the module". Again it does not specifically state that these are connected to the power supply 0 VDC.
