I have a problem, i am designing a device to check the polarity of DC field/interpole coils, and require imformation and circuits on how a hall effect transistor could be used to do this.

The Hall effect transistor uses a four - lead magnetic field that converts the amagnetic field into a small current. Then, the result of an Analog operation (Op. Amplifier) is given on the output port. Then, if you change the polarization of the magnetic field, then you'll find that the polarity is wrong.

You can use from one UGN3503 , it it 3pin IC
