I want to install a new CNC Unit on a boring machine. The machine already have Linear inductosyns installed on it. But the CNC unit doesn't accept that type of signals. Instead it uses Enoder type. (two pulses with 90 phase shift and a zeroing pulse)

Is there any electronic board which can convert the output of Linear inductosyns to a digital form? If there is something that just simplifies the task, it'll be great.

Farrand make just such an item. Check out the quad converter board at their site: http://www.ruhle.com. I've used these on a recent project and they work quite well.
