I am looking for specs or data for a high duty cycle 12-24VDC linier actuator 3-6in stroke with 25 to 50 pounds torque. The project I am working on is a side by side vehicle with the existing mechanical controls in place. The linier actuator will work a cam type system to control the braking and throttle. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

 

Check out LINAK, their LA12 model should do what you want. I recently used 6 of thes for a mining project, to automate the flotation cell dart valves. They are quite inexpensive <$200, I think they have a thrust of ~ 75lb depending on the speed (thread pitch)
