I am a telecom guy not an engineer, technician, or control guy.
Generally speaking no one uses conditioned lines anymore-too expensive. I have a client using old Autocon 9310 Mercat with 3 wells connected with conditioned lines. I want to replace the the drypairs with 4 lines per connection and modems that "nail down" the circuits. (Modem will use one line at plant and call 2nd line at well for send side and modem at well will dial from 3rd line to another modem at plant and 4th line for recieve side.) The connections will be maintained unless power or line is lost, then modem will redial. Anyone done this??? Any other way to do this???
