Hi,
We have several substations connected system through 101 telecontrol link to LDC/DMS. We have a redundant link to control center. The automation in substation is by Siemens SiCAM PAS.
Well, we are experiencing a line failure and continuous switching of the line at LDC end. LDC expect Station to respond like this.
1. One of the link remain active while other inactive.
2. Link which receives the GI is considered as Active.
3. When both links are up, and if GI recieved by inactive link, it will become active and the other one become inactive
.
4. inactive link only monitors the channel health by sending the ACK to test telegram.
5. Station will not give higher priority to any line.
6. The line will switch only if the GI is received on the other line.
7. If communication fails on active line, it will not switch until healthy line receives the GI.
At station level, there are not much parameters to set, and we need to ensure that station should work im compatible to the behaviour expected by LDC/DMS.
