how can we drive a synchronous motor direct from an alternator without all intermediate transformation and power diodes?
assuming that the motor had to run in only one direction and used only on upper 30% of rpm and giving the possibility to pre-run the motor to that speed so magnetic lock can take place.
Q: is possible an alternator can be built so it can meet those requirements? (drive the motor from 70% and up to the max). i think that to adjust the speed of a synchronous motor you have to adjust the voltage together frequency.
