Component selection and Implementation of Profibus
Buying off-the-shelf automation components is the simplest way to implement a Profibus network. The PLC is the master and IO, drives, etc are the slaves. The PLC programming software is used to setup the whole network within the hardware configuration, this is then downloaded to the PLC.

Automating Screw Type Powder Feeder
If you just want on/off format for the screw then you just need a suitably sized contactor. C-more HMIs seem to be made to go with the Click PLCs so that would allow you to enter the weight

RTD thermal protection HV Motors
The more expensive the motor the more layers of protection you should have. While you can risk it and run without the RTD, you really should plan to have it repaired during planned maintenance. Hopefully the cost of repairing the RTD is cheaper than replacing the whole motor.

Older relay logic based booster pump system which I would like to upgrade to a basic plc based system
If I was alternating pumps with a PLC program, I would have lead/lag code. Before the first pump is started it selects the pump with the lowest run hours as the lead.

Older relay logic based booster pump system which I would like to upgrade to a basic plc based system
Good to see you are making progress. I am not sure why you have the jockey pump off, I thought it would be useful to make up pressure with low or no flow, a larger pump would not be required to start. One step at a time is good but at some stage there will need to be a big step to replace the...

Steam Requirement for Textile Dyeing Machine
I presume the additional cost for the compressed air option would be minimal, so worth a shot. Too many unknowns to answer your question, including size of vessel. This might answer some of your questions...

VT Ratio Calculation
The secondary voltage of the VT should be low enough to be within the input limits of the energy meter, sometimes VTs are not required if the mains voltage is low enough. You also need to specify the accuracy class which all depends on what you are using the energy meter for, tariff, reference...

VT Ratio Calculation
It is just a ratio to multiply the secondary voltage of the VT so the the energy meter can calculate the primary voltage of the VT. Keep it simple, 440:110 or 4:1

Interdependence of Kp, Ki, and Kd in PID control

Older relay logic based booster pump system which I would like to upgrade to a basic plc based system
As a second pump is being called, it seems like the pressure switch is not switching off either due to pressure switch fault or not enough pressure from pumps. Are there any indicators on the relays to tell you they are energised? LED or mechanical indicator. You could video these while problem...

Older relay logic based booster pump system which I would like to upgrade to a basic plc based system
Yes High System Pressure Tripped and Low Suction Pressure tripped will stop the system and trigger the alarm. The Low System Pressure Tripped will start the pumps, the same as the Call pressure switch. I presume it should never get this low under normal operating conditions. When pump 1 is...

Older relay logic based booster pump system which I would like to upgrade to a basic plc based system
The ladder diagram is not too complex, I have provided some information below, if you get stuck I can provide more. If you want to develop your knowledge you will need to gain an understanding of a relay holding circuit, delay on timers and minimum run timers. One of the sheets you posted lists...

Machine Safety - Automatic Bandsaws
Please provide details and dimensions of what you are cutting with the bandsaw. AOPD and muting might be a solution but need more details. The cost of safety is a lot cheaper than the cost of an operator being injured. Signage is an administrative control, this should only be used if the risk...
