MWG error will appear if your position module is faulty or has a loose contact. If, after you tried to clean and still showing MWG error, then you have to replace the module. For comm lost, is this a fieldbus device or hart?

Auma works in hot and cold environment except if the pipe where you installed it vibrates too much. If it does, Auma has an option to install the electronics in a separate enclosure, away from vibrating medium. Engineers should assess the project before ordering.

I don't have an IDEC I/O module or any software for it. But looks to me that something is wrong in the configuration. Try to explore and you might find something that is not appropriate. Check for codes in the diagnostics appearing when running online.

Is the output of trisen sending standard 4-20mA to DCS? Did you try to check how much current (if mA) it is sending?

What was the previous port number that you were using? Also, check that port in the PC that you are using as it maybe connected to something else.
