    Replacing cage rotor of induction motor with permanent magnet rotor

    I understand. But my query is pertaining to the circuit modeling of the induction motor in such a modified condition. Will the equivalent circuit and phasor diagram still resemble that of an induction motor or will they change to those of a synchronous motor?
