Torque Varies at Fixed Input Current for a Servomotor
oneye14 Many servo motors cah supply full torque at zero speed. This is how they hold position when powered up. many times it takes as much power (AMPS and VOLTS) to hold the shaft in place as it takes to rotate it.

Fixed Speed Induction Motor Harmonics
cl302i Yes, these are all very important points. Sometimes there are simpler "solutions" which can cause something to happen in a way you do not expect. I have found, read and saw voltage readings close line to line and still have a large variation phase to ground so sometimes when looking...

Repeated motor winding failure of IngersollRand Screw Air Compressors 75 kW
Hello Mahmoud-Diaa There are a few things which cause premature motor failure; The motor powered from a VFD will see a high amount of voltage and current harmonics causing the motor to overheat as well as a continuous voltage sikes caused by the drive inverter section transistors. The motor...

Unbalanced Currents
VWillet Many times the power issues are difficult to resolve unless all variables are considered. For example, we all believe the line to phase voltage is at a factor of 1.732, this is ONLY true when the phase voltage vectors/phasors are equally separated by 120 degrees. 360 degrees divided by...
