Gas Turbine FR9E High Exhaust Pressure
Do you have any history on the Exhaust Press. drop? When did this increase happen, was it sudden or progressive? Has there been any boiler or exhaust maintenance been done recently? Has anyone done any visual or boroscope loo to see if there is any simple obstruction?

GT 9E Fail to Ignite after Combustion Inspection
Pretty well I reckon your machine needed purged somewhere. I reckon if you had tried a few more liquid starts, you would have got it away.

Exhaust Thermocouples Flagging Red and Yellow
All these GE names do have "Longnames" associated with them, TTXM is originally Turbine Temp. Exhaust Median. You have a High Exhaust Temp. Alarm followed by Trip, you have a High Spread Alarm followed by a Trip. Control systems are usually designed to not give useless or confusing...

GT DLN System
Simply the answer is it won't work. This a Staged combustion system which goes through various combustion configurations dependent on calculated combustion Temperature TTRF. This will give best stability and lowest NOX through the load/unload range. Try using the search box in the top right...

Instrumentation Diagrams
Usually (but not always) P&IDs will show the On Base functions and connections for Process Instrumentation. Loop Diagrams will show the complete "loop" all the way back to Control System with all the interposing connections.

Developing SOP for I&C Team
As has been said to you, if you have the machine manuals, you could fairly quickly develop a maintenance plan from the machine maintenance manuals. This would give you something to show management and see where it goes.

GE Frame 9E Turning Mode Maximum Hours
To CSA & others Our Emails crossed but it just shows how confusing this subject is. I have absolutely no problem with and totally agree with CSAs last comments on cold start on machines and have done the same myself in over 40 years of playing around with GE turbines. Sorry to the first...

GE Frame 9E Turning Mode Maximum Hours
Further to my and CSAs comments, I have had a look at GER-3620N(10/17) Heavy Duty Gas Turbine Operational & Maintenance Considerations (you can download this document from the GE site). In Appendix F of this document they give minimum Turning Gear/Ratchet times for turbines in different...

GE Frame 9E Turning Mode Maximum Hours
I have certainly never seen any GE recommendation for how long that you can keep a machine on Cooldown. For sure there advisories on when a machine can be removed from cooldown and for how long a machine should be put on cooldown before restart. If anyone else has GE supplied information, please...

Changing the Fuel in GTG GE Frame 9E
I told you already on my previous Email. Increase the Liquid Fuel LP supply pressure by 0.5 - 1.0 Bar and try again. There should be a PCV for this in your off base skid.

Changing the Fuel in GTG GE Frame 9E
If your load is falling when you switch to diesel, check your diesel LP supply pressure. That is usually the problem. Try to increase by 0.5 - 1.0 Bar and try the changeover again. If it helps, you should be able to figure out by how much you need change the pressure to get a smooth transfer.

Maintenance of Lube Oil Pressure Regulatiing Valves
Your GE Maintenance manual gives recommendations for maintenance of general instruments like Pressure Regulating Valves or maybe you have an in company policy for the same. For me Predictive maintenance is better for evaluating the operation of the L.O. system. Is the Turbine Bearing Header...
