Radio communication status
I'm more familiar with RF, but hopefully someone else will join in to help. You may need to use a client-sever setup on converter if possible.

Is there a radio between these converters and if so what model and is it cell? Are you seeing data received but with errors? I know these two applications use different starting addresses which always messes me up. When you say vise Vera, are referring to a change in direction, i.e you switch...

What is a modern w/ww telemetry system?
Licensed, Unlicensed, Cellular, Private LTE... Would you include I.O.T Something else? What questions would you ask, before you can answer this question? Is w/ww still considered mission Critical?

How to get the camera data by using GE MDS SD9 radio?
SD9 is Licensed narrow band aka small data (15-30kbps) for great distances. I would not expect live video data to work. You will need to use still frames if you want video. No live data as I expect your latency is way too high. You should be running packet with Mac and have bridge and smart...

GE/MDS Orbit ECR radios
Are you using store-and-forward operation? Is this licensed or unlicensed? You can staticly assign routes using the NIC ID and GTW ID in advanced menu. The NIC ID sets a static ID to use as a value for other devices to lock on to it. The Gateway ID points to another Orbits NIC ID as the...

GE MDS Orbit - Using DF1 - Can't make it work.
The Orbit has glitches, but in my opinion it’s as open source and transparent as propriety can get. Their firmware "known errata" section is always an interesting read. I’m not an engineer and I don’t know DH+ and serial very well but I’m going to forward this around internally next week. You...

GE MDS Orbit - Using DF1 - Can't make it work.
Are you polling via serial into the AP? Is it a Master PLC or SCADA doing the polling? Are you using DSR, CTS, RTS pins? Are you open with sharing a redacted configuration of serial port setup. I'm with BCI, we are a GE MDS industial communication distributor covering Fl, Al, MS, NC, SC, TN...

GE MDS Orbit - Using DF1 - Can't make it work.
Did you get this resolved? How many remotes are on the system? I'm not an AB guy but am I correct in saying DF1 is serial protocol? Update to the latest firmware (9.0.3 now) and do transparent-serial to Com1. The Orbit can do up-to 3 VRC (Virtual radio Channels) now called Transparent-serial...
