Advanced Components Unlock the Future of Analog & Mixed Signal Testing

Article:
The Analog & Mixed Signal market is experiencing significant growth, driven by the increasing demand for more efficient and compact testing solutions. OMRON’s Device & Module Solutions division is making this change, offering a diverse range of products specifically designed to meet the unique challenges of this dynamic market. Our product lineup includes MOSFET Relays (G3VM), G6K Signal Relays, P6K Socket, and our Electro-Formed Component (EFC), all engineered to enhance the performance and efficiency of Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
As the complexity of devices continues to rise, the ATE market is shifting towards solutions that offer miniaturization and enhanced efficiency. OMRON is committed to addressing these needs by providing innovative products that deliver high performance in a compact form factor. Our solutions are designed to achieve miniaturized size, improve functionality, and ensure reliability in demanding testing environments.
MOSFET Relays:

OMRON utilizes our MOSFET relays in various applications within the automated test equipment market, including performance boards, probe cards, and wafer testing. These relays offer benefits such as higher switching speeds, compact size, high temperature tolerance, and low CxR. Our components are continuously evolving to create new value for our customers' equipment.
G6K Relay:

OMRON's G6K series offers a reliable switching solution designed for high board density, specifically catering to the semiconductor testing and manufacturing industries. The G6K RF family enables high-speed switching while consuming low power in the coils. Additionally, it features a compact design with a DPDT terminal structure, making it ideal for use in semiconductor applications as well as test and measurement equipment.
P6K Socket:

As semiconductors become more multifunctional, the demand for reliable testing and inspection rises. Our P6K Socket extends equipment lifespan, enabling quick replacements without soldering. It pairs with our G6K Signal Relay to enhance the product offering as a full solution. The frequent replacement of parts in testing is a growing concern as testing equipment becomes more durable and demanding. The G6K can reduce the number of tasks for workers and contribute to long-term cost savings.
EFC Blade Pin:

Omron blade pins enhance inspection productivity for various devices compared to traditional pogo pins. They ensure high stability when contacting the device under test (DUT) and boast test pass rates of 99% to 100%. With a durability of around 300,000 cycles, low contact resistance, and a fine test pitch as narrow as 0.175 mm, they are suitable for many applications.
