Introducing Cincoze’s Latest Industrial PCs: The DA-1200 and DV-1100

April 21, 2024 by Seth Price

Cincoze has released two new compact industrial PCs for use in high-vibration, rugged environments. The DA-1200 is palm-sized and fit for standard use, while the bigger DV-1100 offers powerful processing.

Industrial computing provider Cincoze has announced that its DA-1200 and DV-1100 industrial PCs are now available and ready for implementation in automation and transportation systems.

Industrial PCs

Cincoze’s latest industrial PCs are compact and rugged, designed for operation in challenging environments. Both computers can work in a wide range of temperatures (-40 to 70 °C) and comply with the vibration standard MIL-STD-810H and the EMC test standard for industrial environments (EN IEC 61000-6-2 and EN IEC 61000-6-4).

The DA-1200

The DA-1200 is a compact computing system geared towards tiny spaces. Measuring only 150 x 105 x 52.3 mm and fitting in the palm of the hand, it can be integrated into existing automation systems or be the centerpiece for the design of new systems. The small size also means lower power usage: the DA-1200 only consumes 12 W.

The DA-1200's small size does not limit its capabilities. It is powered by the Intel Alder Lake-N processor and can handle up to 16 GB of DDR5 4800 MHz memory. It can use WiFi, 5G, or GNSS wireless communication protocols, as well as wired connections. For data storage, it can be outfitted with a 2.5-inch SSD, half-slim SSD, or M.2 SSD.

The DV-1100

The DV-1100 is a little larger (224.1 x 162 x 62 mm) than the DA-1200 but also packs a bigger punch in terms of processing capabilities. It can use any of the 13th/12th generation Intel processors and up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, making it capable of high-speed processing, data collection, and analysis.

The DV-1100 shares the same ruggedness as its little brother but has more ports and options for connecting and interfacing with devices. Despite its slightly larger size, the DV-1100 can also be used for the railroad industry, as it is rated to EN 50155 (EN 50121-3-2 only), the standard for railroad computing. It also interfaces with other Cincoze modules, meaning it is scalable for more I/O channels and can be expanded to meet changing manufacturing needs.

Rugged, High-performance Computing

Given their ruggedness and high-speed capabilities, these computers will likely be used in new automation systems. Their compact size also makes them a good fit, literally, for space-limited installations, such as in the transportation market. With sensor-laden construction and mass transit vehicles, the need for high-speed computing is constantly growing, and the DA-1200 is capable of serving the market.

The DV-1100 will find use in processing equipment, transportation, and robotics systems that require high-speed computing but also benefit from multiple interface methods. One such manufacturing use might be to manage machine vision systems, which are growing in popularity for inspection and quality control tasks.

Overall, Cincoze's two latest industrial PCs will serve any industrial need requiring ruggedness, processing speed, and vibration resistance.
