At Automate 2026, industrial and medical PC solutions specialist Teguar will showcase its latest Regiment Series of rugged, fanless, embedded AI PCs. Each subsequent OC technology in the series scales in I/O and computing capacity, as well as form factor, to offer a range from compact edge gateways to high-performance, graphics-heavy industrial applications. Teguar will hold interactive demonstrations featuring PCs from the Regiment Series, including an LLM robotic arm demo with Regis TB-7393 and a FANUC arm.

Space-saving data transmissions

Starting with Teguar’s most compact, ruggedized offering, the Scout TB-6293 is powered by an Intel Twin Lake and supports 8 or 16 GB of memory. The Scout serves as a lightweight, space-saving gateway for pooling and transporting data at the edge. Customers can connect to a central hub or IoT device to transmit data over a WiFi or cellular network. Device power and performance are enhanced by Power over Ethernet (PoE). The aluminum blocks within the device facilitate passive cooling (to enhance safety), dissipating heat through the internal chassis and outer casing. While the Scout TB-6293 lacks a fully waterproof IP (ingress protection) rating, its construction protects against dust, debris, and other particulates common in space-limited industrial settings.

The Optio TB-7293 packs in processing power, longevity, and operational safety, featuring an Intel Core Ultra Series 14th Generation Meteor Lake and a broad operating temperature range of -40°C to 60°C. Customers can benefit from plenty of external I/O ports, including USB, COM, and Ethernet/LAN. Other key features of the technology include video-out over USB-C, wide-voltage DC input, and cellular capability via the SATA slot and antennas.

The Regis TB-7393 uses Intel's 14th Generation Raptor Lake architecture, with performance capabilities spanning efficient i3 units to the powerful Core i9-14900. This hybrid processing capacity enables "workload consolidation", which allows a single fanless unit to deal with both rapid PLC transmissions and sophisticated computer vision algorithms. By offloading compute-intensive tasks to the edge, the series lowers system latency and minimizes the need for several independent controllers on the factory floor.

This processing boost is complemented by a shift to high-bandwidth DDR5 memory, which supports a robust RAM ceiling of 96 GB. This massive memory capacity has been tailored for data-heavy applications such as virtualization and live AI inference, where limited memory setups would otherwise incur performance bottlenecks. As smart factory operations grow in complexity, data technologies like the Regis provide the computing clout and speed required for high-resolution imaging and multi-OS environments.

Teguar will also display its Pinnacle Series of panel PCs, available in 12.1- and 15.6-inch sizes. These PCs feature a highly responsive touchscreen display and save 20% on installation space compared to traditional models on the market, according to Teguar. The Pinnacle Series PCs also feature fanless cooling and a front bezel with an IP66 rating, which means it is dust-tight and protected against powerful, high-pressure water spray from any direction.

At Teguar’s booth, guests can engage with the latest innovations in edge AI through an interactive LLM-powered robotic arm, experience the durability of the all-in-one touchscreen computer as it is subjected to a water fountain, and discover smooth software integration via a live Ignition demo. These highlights, together with a display of collaborative systems from partners such as ABB and Rockwell Automation, emphasize Teguar's dedication to offering adaptable, high-performance hardware for today’s industrial environment.
