I was wondering if anyone has configured a SCADA package to communicate with PMS AirNet particle counters over Ethernet.
Particle Measuring Systems have Facility-View software to store and display the particle count data, but I need to integrate the particle counts with a SCADA package to be used with other systems in the plant.
As an alternative to Ethernet, the particle counters can send two 4-20mA signals to a PLC. Only one status bit for the counter can be monitored using this method, rather than several bits when using the Ethernet protocol.
