Next-generation FS101 Flow Sensors

The new FS101 flow sensor series offers flow monitoring via an alphanumeric display. The display provides essential flow rate monitoring data and measurements in a 4-digit 12-segment display that can be rotated 180 degrees. This display is an update to the FS100 flow sensor series, which displays process values using a bar graph.

Additionally, the versatility of Turck's sensor series is increased with an immersion depth range of 16.9 mm to 64.9 mm in sensing applications that need insertions. The sensors are equipped with a screw-in adapter, with available G 1/2-inch, G 1/4-inch, and NPT 1/2-inch male threaded process connections, and feature an M12 x 1 male connector for electrical connection.

Robust and Reliable Sensing

Available with NPN/PNP (NO/NC) or 4-20 mA output functions and IO-Link, Turck’s new FS101 sensor series can communicate with a range of control systems. For durability and to withstand harsh industrial environments, the sensors feature IP66, IP67, and IP69K protection ratings and a stainless steel housing that protects electronic components as they come into contact with liquid medium.

The new series’ durable design, versatile adjustment capabilities, and high accuracy make it applicable in a range of industries, such as machining processes and welding, where it can monitor the flow of coolant. The sensor can also be used in applications like fluid level control and process verification in wastewater treatment.

Flow Monitoring and Measurement

Flow rate monitoring and measurement are essential aspects to consider when accuracy is needed on a flowing medium. As flow sensing technology continues improving, engineers seek solutions that work best for their applications. Features like the alphanumeric display that comes with Turck's new line of flow sensors make the FS101 series an ideal choice for those seeking accurate, easily indicatable monitoring capabilities in their sensing applications.
