Choke valve

I am working on a project which has choke valve. The choke valve is motorised with AI (4-20mA) and AO (4-20mA). In case of emergency this choke valve must be closed. My question is whether this valve needs (mandatory??) a solenoid valve for emergency closing, or whether 4-20mA can be used for closing this valve in emergency. Choke valve has interface with DCS.
