MARK V cumulative running hour error

My Gas Compressor package LM2500+PGT25+2BCL608 is provided by Nuovo Pignone. Turbine Control system is MARK V as now I am facing the problem about total cumulative running hour error when I stop the engine and then re-start up again. the total cumulative running hour will be jumping up about 2000 hours or more every time.

How does it happen and how to correct it? please help.

Note : MARK V is used over ten years.

This is a bit nasty. It sounds like something has gone wrong in the accumulator for your run hours data. This is all associated with the TOTD_Q.DAT file. Do you have a controls guy on site who is familiar with the Timers & Counters system and the associated accumulators?
