Serial Communication for ppc using Visual Basic

Meanwhile I'm working on a project which needs to get the signal from a dataglove into a pocket pc through serial connection.

The setting is: a dataglove + control box with serial port, connect to the pocket pc using serial I/O card (CompactFlash card). Can anybody please teach me how to write the pocket pc application code in visual basic, in order to get the signal (data bits) from the dataglove?
